Limbaugh fighting back

If the group that Rush Limbaugh is involved with becomes a potential buyer of the St. Louis Rams, they could meet some roadblocks from NFL owners. 24 of the 32 owners must approve the sale and according to multiple sources, Colts owner Jimmy Irsay has already come out and said he would vote against Limbaugh’s group.

Cards’ Molina being sued

While it was a crime that Yadier Molina tried to advance to third on a groundball hit to the shortstop, he cannot be sued for that baserunning blunder.  However, a sports memorabilia company has filed suit claiming Molina did not show up to autograph signings.

Missouri National Guard, Air Force, form unique partnership

The Pentagon’s decision to end the 86-year history of the Missouri Air National Guard’s fighter wing in St. Louis has produced a unique partnership during the last year between the Guard and the active-duty Air Force.

Air National Guard Colonel Bob Leeker had flown fighters for thirty years, most recently the F-15s of the 131st Fighter Wing. Now he flies the B-2 stealth bomber. The 131st is now a bomber wing partnering with the 509th Air Force Bomber Wing at Whiteman Air Force Base. Full-time and part-time Guard maintenance and flight personnel work alongside their regular Air Force counterparts. [Read more...]
