Austin capitalizes on Texans…err, I mean Chiefs D

It seems only fitting that a game named Austin, (the state capital of Texas) would have a big day between the Dallas Cowboys and the Dallas Texans (a.k.a. Kansas City Chiefs). The Chiefs are 0-5 after losing in overtime 26-20 to the Cowboys. Miles Austin had 250 yards receiving and two late touchdowns to secure the win.

No surprise, Rams 0-5

On a day the Rams wore throw back jerseys from 1999, Brett Favre looked like an old throw back of himself. A day after he turned 40, he threw for 232 yards and touchdown and the Rams got pounded by the Minnesota Vikings 38-10 to fall to 0-5. It was the Rams’ 15th straight loss.

Missouri college students compete in Solar Decathlon

A team of college students from Missouri is among 20 entries taking part in what is known as the Solar Decathlon in Washington, D.C. It’s a competition in which teams of college and university students compete to design, build, and operate what turns out to be the most attractive and energy-efficient solar-powered house.
