Robinson Tejada continues to do well as a starter.  Of course, it helps when you get plenty of run support.  The Royals tagged Tigers’ starter Jarrod Washburn for four runs in the first inning and chased him after that while the Royals piled on for an 11-1 win.

The Royals got three, three run homers in this game.  Alberto Callaspo hit his off Washburn in the first.  DeJesus followed with his in the fourth and Olivo tacked on more runs in the seventh.

Tejada finally gave up an earned run.  He only pitched five innings, and gave up his first earned run in his third start when Detroit scored in the bottom of the fifth.  Prior to that, Tejada had gone 16 innings without allowing a run.
