Missouri State Bears football fans will have the opportunity to meet the 2009 players and coaches, participate in interactive games, win prizes and enjoy free food and beverages on Thursday, August 27 at Plaster Field.

Meet the Bears Night will begin at 5:45 p.m. and will feature appearances by the Missouri State Cheerleaders, Sugar Bears and Boomer.  Free pizza and soft drinks will be provided, based on availability, along with schedule cards, posters, and magnet schedules.

Interactive games and contests to win tickets and other prizes will be available throughout the night in addition to autograph stations featuring select Bears players.

The event is free and is expected to conclude around 7 p.m. 

The "Food, Fun, and Football Family Plan" has been announced by Missouri State Athletics as opportunity for families to enjoy Bears football this fall at Plaster Field.

The Season Family Plan includes four general-admission seats, four hot dogs, and four 20-ounce soft drinks for every home game.  The price of the package is just $199 for the same seats to all six home games (an average of just over $33 per game!).  

The Single-Game Family Plan is available on a per-game basis and includes four general-admission seats, four hot dogs and four 20-ounce soft drinks for $40 per game.

A limited number of tickets for Missouri State’s season opener at Arkansas on September 5 are also on sale at the Missouri State Athletics Box Office.
