Former Mizzou Tigers were involved in preseason NFL action Thursday night.  In the first night of full NFL football,  Jeremy Maclin, Will Franklin, and Ziggy
Hood all saw action and contributed to their team.

Maclin caught two passes for 44 yards, and returned four kickoffs and two punts in Philly’s loss to New England.  The prospects of having Maclin, McNabb, and now Michael Vick who just signed, on the field at the same time is very intriquing.

Will Franklin caught two passes, one a two yard touchdown pass in the 4 th quarter of the Raiders win over Dallas.  Former defensive linemen Ziggy Hood had a sack as the Steelers beat the Cardinals.

Quarterback Chase Daniel did not play as Washington got shut out by Baltimore, 23-0, which may end up being a blessing.  His main competitor, incumbent third stringer Colt Brennan was 4 of 12 for 43 yards and an interception.  So, while Daniel has yet to play in a game, Brennan did not do anything to pull ahead in the race for that job.
