The Daniel Boone Little League team from Columbia, Mo. is now one win away from a trip to Williamsport, PA for the Little League World Series . Boone advanced to the finals after a 3-2 win over Blair, Nebraska.
Despite being held to just four hits, Daniel Boone scored two runs in the second inning and added the diference maker in the bottom of the fourth. That gave them a 3-1 lead. Blair scored a run in the fifth, but was shut down in the sixth.
The Columbia team will now play the number one seeded Urbandale, Iowa Little League team on Saturday at noon. A game that can be seen on ESPN.
