Former Missouri Tiger forward Linas Kleiza is leaving the NBA and heading over to Greece where he signed a two year contract worth $12 million to play for Olympiakos.
Kleiza spent the last four years with the Denver Nuggets and was offered a $2.7 million dollar salary for next season which would have made him a restricted free agent. Kleiza averaged 9.9 points and four rebounds with the Nuggets last season.
Kleiza’s contract with the Greek team has an out clause which would allow him to return to the NBA with his rights still belonging to Denver.
