Number seven will be back on the ice this season wearing a blue note as Keith Tkachuk signs a one year deal with the St. Louis Blues. Blues President John Davidson made the announcement yesterday. 

Tkachuk, who is 37 years old, played in 79 games for the Blues this past season, scoring 25 goals and dishing out 24 assists.  He became the 72 nd player in NHL history, and just the seven US born player, to reach the 1000 point milestone when he scored a power play goal last November against Atlanta. 

Tkachuk also played in his fifth all star game this past season.  In eight seasons with St. Louis, he has 195 goals and 200 assists.  He is eighth on the all time Blues records list in points, sixth in goals, seventh in game winning goals and fourth in power play goals.
