The good news.  It appears Adam Wainwright figured out his early season struggles by correcting his arm angle. The bad news.  The Cardinals lost 1-0 on Corey Hart’s second inning solo home run to give the Milwaukee Brewers sole possession of first place in the NL Central.

After Wainwright’s last start in Cincinnati, he said he watched video with Chris Carpenter and realized his arm angle was different from last year.   Wainwright made the proper adjustments giving up just two hits in eight innings of work.  One of those was the solo shot, and you figure the Cardinals’ bats would get something across, but Jeff Suppan, the former St. Louis pitcher was equally as tough allowing just six hits in seven innings.  Three relievers closed the game out including Trevor Hoffman who picked up his ninth save.
