The Missouri State High School Activities Association released a statement saying that they have not cancelled any tournaments or regular season activities at this time based on concerns over the Swine Flu.

The statement assures students and parents that MSHSAA staff has been in contact with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior services and will continue to monitor the situation.

"The safety of not only our students, but also their parents and the general public who are there to support those students at our events is very important to us," said MSHSAA Executive Director Dr. Kerwin Urhahn.  "We will keep monitoring the situation within Missouri and take preventive measures if and when that time arises.  While we are keeping a watchful eye on the situation, we are especially listening to the state agencies that specialize in medical situations such as this."
