I went to bed when Texas Tech’s Mike Singletary missed a layup and Texas A&M was up 50-29 early in the 2 nd half.  Singletary got hot, and set a Big 12 tournament record with 43 points and Tech came back from the dead to beat A & M 88-83.   So now tonight, it’s an 8:30 tip, Mizzou and Tech in the second round.

In the first meeting on January 24 th at Mizzou Arena, the Tigers won 97-86.  DeMarre Carroll led all scorers with 27 points.  Mizzou shot just 5 of 20 on three pointers that day, but they forced Tech into 29 turnovers.  Singletary had 14 points that game thanks to 8 of 11 free throw shooting.  Missouri jumped out to a big lead early lead and were up by as many as 18 in the first half.

How big will Mizzou win by?  Take our poll.
