Boy, I didn’t realized how busy March can be for sports. Spring training is in full swing, there’s March Madness, and I’m not just talking about the Missouri Tigers, but we have several Missouri schools that are in post-season tournaments.
We have some dominating college teams too on just about every level. We have a junior college school that is undefeated. A NAIA school hosting a national tournament, and another hosting a Division II regional. So, I take a few minutes to recognize those schools, plus hear from Kim Anderson, the head coach at Central Missouri. He played for and worked with Norm Stewart. He passes along the best advice he’s heard from Norm and it’s something we can all live by.
Finally, if you have a 4th-9th grader that plays on a basketball team, I’ve got information on how you can sign up for the Show Me State Games "Hoopin’ It Up" tournament at the end of March.
