David DeJesus, Mike Jacobs, and Ryan Shealy all went deep.  DeJesus along with Coco Crisp, and Willie Bloomquist were perfect as the plate in a 9-4 Royals’ win over Cleveland.

Crisp was 2 for 2 with an RBI and two runs scored.  He’s raised his spring average to .471.  Bloomquist who may beat out Mark Teahen for the second basemen’s job.  He went 3 for 3 and he’s hitting .389.

DeJesus drove in four runs with his two hits.  He hit a two run homer in the second inning as the Royals scored seven times in the first two frames.

Kyle Davies gave up two runs, one earned off a home run in the fourth as Davies went 3.2 innings.  His spring ERA is 1.04.

Royals’ home tickets are soldout for the Yankees series with the team saying demand has doubled from last year’s season opener with New York.
