It didn’t take long for former Kansas City Chiefs head coach Herm Edwards to land a job. He is being hired by ESPN as a NFL studio analyst, the network announced on Thursday.
Edwards will appear on NFL Live, SportsCenter, ESPNEWS and ESPN Radio during the off-season. He’ll start in mid February.
This is Herm’s second go-round with ESPN. He worked during the 2008 offseason as a guest analyst.

Transportation Director Pete Rahn says it should be made clear that the money being proposed for highways and bridges – about $30-billion across the country – is nowhere near what is needed. He says that amounts to about 65 percent of an annual appropriation to highways and bridges under the federal program.
