The 24 th ranked Central Missouri Mules beat #6 Southwest Baptist 93-82 in Warrensburg.    Central Missouri (15-3, 8-3 MIAA) avenged a loss earlier in the season to the Bearcats (15-3, 8-3 MIAA) and moved into a tie for first place in the conference standings.

Central Missouri shot a red hot 62% in the second half and 6-of-8 three-point attempts in and 19-of-24 free throws in the second half. The Mules also scored 61 points in the half and had four players in double-figures.

Matt Rogers led all scorers with 11 points for SBU, while UCM was paced by De’Andre Byrd at eight points and seven boards. The Mules shot only 29.3 percent in the half, but 14 offensive boards and only four turnovers kept them in the game. 

Northwest Missouri State (9-9, 4-7 MIAA) rebounded from  an early season loss to the Emporia Hornets (13-5, 7-4 MIAA) and have won four of their last five overall in winning 67-56.

The Hornets fought back from 14 points down in the second half and took a 56-53 lead on a three-pointer from the corner by Alex Pyle with 6:06 remaining. Northwest closed the game on a 14-0 run.

Skyler Bowlin scored 13 points, including two late free-throws and the Missouri Southern Lions ended a three game losing streak with a 57-51 win over Truman State.

Southern (16-5, 6-5, MIAA) was led in scoring from Skyler Bowlin with 13 points. He went 5-10 from the field and added four assists. DaRell Crittendon scored nine, while Jason Adams scored eight.

Truman (6-12, 1-10 MIAA) was led by 15 points from Alex Henderson and 14 from Ethan Freeman.
