This is a gift only a museum dedicated to war could love. The National World War I Museum at Liberty Memorial in Kansas City has received seven very heavy boxes full of 119 vintage, but harmless, grenades or parts of grenades taken from various battlefields. Some of the grenades are early models and give a glimpse of how the grenade developed during the first war in the industrial era. The donation came from a collector in California who though the World War I museum would be the perfect place for them.
