According to Michael Smith of ESPN , two NFL sources have told him that Scott Pioli is becoming GM of the Kansas City Chiefs and Herm Edwards will be out as head coach.
A Patriot source said that Pioli was cleaning his office out on Tuesday afternoon. Pioli has been with New England for nine years. The speculation now is that Herm Edwards will be let go.
One of the top replacements could be Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnoulo who is interviewing with the Rams on Thursday.
