Could J-Mac be leaving his roommate behind? After the Missouri Tigers beat Northwestern in the Alamo Bowl, Jeremy Maclin said he still had a lot to be accomplished at the University of Missouri.  Come Friday at 11am, we’ll find out if he’s staying or ready to make the jump to the NFL.

Maclin is holding a press conference to announce his decision.  He has said all along that if he felt he would be drafted in the first round, he would make him self eligible in the draft.

There is really no reason for him to stay.  Maclin’s stock is as high as it is going to get.  There are no other pro prospects returning on offense next year, so defenses would be focusing their attention on double teaming him.  He would be playing with a new, unproven quarterback.  While the Tigers may be re-tooling, it’s time for Maclin to make the move.

I’ll have video and comments after his press conference tomorrow here on the site.
