The Missouri State Bears (7-7, 0-3) return to the road Wednesday trying to snap a four-game losing streak and hoping to pick up their first conference win of the season when they invade Evansville’s Roberts Stadium at 7:05 p.m.

Evansville is off to a 10-3 start and is coming off a 65-59 road league win at Indiana State on Sunday after suffering an 80-50 loss at Illinois State on New Year’s Eve. The Purple Aces are 9-0 at home this season.

The Bears are coming off a tough 63-57 home loss to Bradley on Saturday evening, letting a 63-62 lead slip away in the final two minutes. Will Creekmore  had 17 points and a game-high eight rebounds to lead the Bears, while Spencer Laurie scored 17 behind four three-pointers and dished out five assists. The Bears shot a season-low 29.7 percent from the field, but collected a season-best 41 rebounds, including 25 on the offensive end.
