Southwest Baptist University’s head basketball coach Jeff Guiot said it wasn’t a pretty win, but nonetheless, the #4 Bearcats ran their record to 9-0, by defeating Pittsburg State, 82-76.

SBU put four players in double figures led by Matt Rogers with 15 points
and 12 rebounds. D’Ante Harris scored 13, which included 11 of 13 from
the line. The  Bearcats shot only 25% from the three-point line in the
first half, but had improved their percentage 31.6% by the games end (on
6 of 19).

SBU now stands at 9-0 on the season, with a 2-0 record in the MIAA.
