23 year old Timothy Bauman Jr., a Truman State University student is facing felony assault charges after injuring another student during a fight.  Bauman was released on a $25,000 bond.  

Bauman is banned from Truman campus, and Adair County as well.  He also has a daily curfew of 7 p.m., and cannot consume any alcohol. Kirksville police arrested Bauman early Friday morning..  Witnesses said Bauman and 21 year old Nicholas Cepicky were arguing.  Bauman allegedly punched Cepicky once in the face, causing him to fall to the ground.

Cepicky was knocked out and was sent to Northeast Regional Medical Center and later flighted to Columbia, Mo.

Bauman, originally from St. Robert, Mo., transferred to Truman in 2006 from Palomar Junior College in Arizona. He was a member of the Truman football team in 2006 and 2007.

Cepicky, 22, from St. Louis, completed his fourth season with the Truman soccer team this fall.
