At 6pm central time this evening, Missouri Tiger offensive coordinator Dave Christensen will be announced as the new head coach at Wyoming. Christensen will continue to call plays for the Tigers this Saturday and during their bowl game.
Head coach Gary Pinkel said he would find a way to make Christensen’s schedule work with his responsibilities for the Tigers and with his new team. Christensen wanted to stay on for the Big 12 title game and any bowl game Mizzou plays in.
Pinkel said that when the coaches are out recruiting for Mizzou, Christensen will most likely be interviewing for his assistants or recruiting on his own.
