The inaugural game at JQH Arena, Missouri State’s new 11,000-seat on-campus basketball arena, is nearing sellout status Athletics Department officials reported late Thursday.

 

As of 4:30 p.m. Thursday, there were approximately 30 individual seats remaining for the first game at the arena, Saturday’s 7:05 p.m. men’s contest between the Bears and the University of Arkansas.  There are also 104 tickets reserved for Missouri State students still available which can be picked up during regular Box Office hours.

A limited number of standing-room tickets will be sold beginning at 4 p.m. on Saturday. All standing-room tickets, including those purchased by Missouri State students, will cost $25. 

The MSU Athletics Box Office is located inside the southeast entrance to JQH Arena and is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and will reopen at 10 a.m. Saturday. Tickets may also be purchased by calling (417) 836-7678 or (888) 476-7849 and on-line at www.MissouriStateTix.com .
