The St. Louis University soccer team made an at-large bid for the NCAA tournament.  The Billikens (11-4-5) will face Drake (13-4-1), runner-up in the Missouri Valley Conference, on Friday at 7 p.m. The winner will face Indiana (12-6-3), the No. 6 seed, on Nov. 25 in Bloomington, Ind., in the second round.

SLU was on the bubble after losing to Massachusetts in the second round of the Atlantic 10 tournament Friday.   The were a lot of conference tournaments that had upsets that cut into the number of available at-large berths, but the Billikens had enough to get in.  The NCAA RPI rankings only one team with a lower ranking than SLU, Cal-Poly, in the tournament.

Drake, making its first NCAA tournament appearance, was eliminated from the MVC tournament by Missouri State on penalty kicks in the semifinals.
