After opening the season with a 42-14 loss to Rockhurst on ESPN, Blue Springs South got some revenge beating the Hawklets in the Missouri Class 6 quarterfinals and improved to 10-2.

Levi Terrell rushed for 407 yards and six touchdowns on 34 carries as Fox defeated host Oakville 39-27 in the Class 6 quarterfinals and earned a berth in next weekend’s semifinals.

Jefferson City came up with the big plays and the Jaguars did not in a 44-18 Jays victory.  Jefferson City (9-2) advances to play at No. 2 Blue Springs South (10-2) in the semifinals next weekend. South upset defending state champion Rockhurst 14-9 in a quarterfinal played Friday in Kansas City.
