LJ back in the scheme this week The Kansas City Chiefs have a revamped lineup for this Sunday against New Orleans.  At the beginning of the season when the Chiefs started restructuring and shuffled their lineup, but this time, it’s because of injuries.

Eight regulars on the defensive side will practice this week, officially listed on the injury report as questionable or out.  Defensive end may be the worst of all.  Three defensive ends may not play.  Turk McBride and Brian Johnston are out and Tamba Hali has a bad right knee and is one of those question marks.

Brandon Flowers and Patrick Surtain, two of their top cornerbacks are questionable and linebackers Donnie Edwards and Derrick Johnson are out.

Head coach Herm Edwards said he’s never seen anything like it.  One positive, if you want to call it that, is Larry Johnson will play this week, but as you listen to Edwards, see if you’re thinking the same thing I am, that Herm is not sure how he’s going to use LJ or how much and he’s not sure whether Johnson will start.
