The University of Missouri will welcome a sellout crowd of over 68,000 fans to Saturday’s football game against Colorado.  Kickoff for the 16 th -ranked Tigers’ game is set for 5:30 p.m. and the game is being televised live on Fox Sports Net.

 

Here are some news/notes/tips for fans to keep in mind when coming to this weekend’s game…

Due to the sellout, fans are encouraged to arrive early and make plans to enter the stadium early, so that they don’t miss any of the game.  Long lines can form outside of the stadium just before kickoff, and with security checks of bags, it can take awhile to get into the stadium.  For those picking up already-purchased tickets, the ticket offices at both Mizzou Arena and on the North side of Memorial Stadium open Saturday at 2:30 p.m…

A new website has been created to provide updated information for Tiger fans, including maps, traffic flow, parking and tailgating information, and much more.  Fans are encouraged to visit www.mizzougameday.com for details…

Fans are encouraged to wear gold to all games, with the exception of the Blackout game (Nov. 8 th ).  The Tiger Team Store, located on the North concourse of Memorial Stadium, has plenty of gold-colored merchandise on sale, with the store opening at 10 a.m. Saturday.  Additionally, the Tiger Team Store located in the lobby of Mizzou Arena will be open Saturday from 12 p.m. until kickoff…

This weekend is MU’s annual Homecoming celebration, and the popular Homecoming Parade will get underway at 8:30 a.m. Saturday. 

The women’s basketball team will hold its annual "Brewer Breakfast" event Saturday at 8 a.m. at Brewer Fieldhouse on campus.  This event serves as a kickoff for the women’s basketball season, and Tiger fans are invited to come by and grab a pancake breakfast and watch the team practice…

Tiger fans are encouraged to come out and view open scrimmages for the men’s basketball, baseball and softball teams Saturday in the Sports Park complex.  First, the baseball team will hold an open scrimmage at Simmons Field/Taylor Stadium at 11 a.m., followed by the softball team’s Alumni Game at Noon.  At 1 p.m., the men’s basketball team will hold an open scrimmage at Mizzou Arena.  There is no admission fee for any of these scrimmages.
