Current Rams head coach Jim Haslett made a personal phone call to cornerback Fakhir Brown telling him he disagreed with then head coach Scott Linehan’s decision to cut Brown.

That was the first time anyone from the oganization had called him.  On September 29th, Brown was told by his agent that he was cut.  Brown felt he was starting to play good football and couldn’t understand why he was cut and why he wasn’t called personally by the team.

Now, just 2 1/2 weeks after getting the news he was gone, he was back in Rams Park after Haslett resigned the cornerback.

Also, Cowboy quarterback Tony Romo says he wants to play despite having a broken pinkie finger on his throwing hand.  It was reported earlier in the week, he could miss four weeks.
