Northwest Missouri State football is ranked third in the first Super Regional Four rankings released Monday by the NCAA Division II Football Committee.
The Bearcats (5-1) are the top team in the MIAA and sit behind undefeated teams West Texas A&M (6-0) and Abilene Christian (5-0) from the Lone Star Conference.
Pittsburg State (5-1) and Saturday’s opponent Central Missouri (5-1) give the MIAA three teams in the top six. Midwestern State (4-1) is sixth while Truman (3-2) enters the rankings at No. 10.
