The Griffons will travel to Aberdeen, S.D. for its first ever meeting with the Wolves of Northern State University. The game will kickoff the 2008 season for both teams. Missouri Western is coming off of very successful 2007 season as the Griffons went 9-3 and 6-3 in the MIAA and beat Wayne State (Neb) 20-13 in last year’s Mineral Bowl in Excelsior Springs, Mo.
