Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama (D-IL) will be in Missouri, next week, as he heads to Denver for the Democratic National Convention.

Obama is launching what is called a Battleground State Tour leading up to the Convention. The tour kicks off on Saturday in Springfield, Illinois, before heading to Wisconsin for an event on Sunday and to Iowa for a Monday event.

Obama appears at an event in Kansas City on Tuesday, with details to be announced later. After leaving Missouri, Obama makes a stop in Montana before going to Denver.
