Springfield Police are investigating a homicide. Arthur Brashear, 60, was found stabbed to death in his apartment, said Sergeant Dennis Prince.
"They’re interviewing witnesses and people that lived in the neighborhood and processing evidence that they found at the scene as a result of their search warrant," he said.
Brashear was last seen on Monday. Police are currently asking people if they noticed any suspicious activity around Brashear’s apartment or his car. His Lincoln Town Car was missing from the apartment parking lot, but police later recovered it several miles from the crime scene.
