The state fair hasn’t always been an easy place for parents of small children. Fair officials are trying to address that this year by offering an air conditioned room complete with everything a parent could need. Officials have assigned an employee Faye Kunze to keep everything clean and picked up.
"We got formula," she said. "We got diapers. They can heat a bottle we got rocking chairs where they can nurse their babies if they want to. Toy of all kinds and they can stay as long as they want it’s just a good addition to the fair."
More families with young children will attend the fair this year as they hear about the free private nursery, Kunze said. The nursery is open during fair hours through August 17 th .
