The Daniel Boone National team from Columbia, Missouri is 2-1 and will be one of the top four teams to advance to the next round of the Midwest Region of the Little League World Series.

Daniel Boone will wrap up play on Thursday with a team from Kearney, Nebraska who is 0-3.  Boone is 2-1 and has wrapped up the number three seed.

After losing to Urbandale, Iowa 12-2 on the first day of the tournament, Boone rebounded winning 5-4 on Sunday to Coon Rapids, Minnesota.  On Tuesday, they handed South Dakota their only loss in the opening round winning 17-16 in nine innings.  It is the highest scoring game in Midwest Regional history.

After this game, Daniel Boone will play Urbandale on Friday at 10:30am.  If they win, they will play for the championship game on Saturday at 12pm which will be televised on ESPN.  The winner of that game, advances to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA.
