The Daniel Boone National All-Star 11-12-year old baseball team from Columbia is getting ready for Midwest regional play starting today in Indianapolis. They play a team from Urbandale Iowa.
There are also teams from Minnesota, South Dakota, and Nebraska. After group play, the top four teams in the six-team region advance to the semifinals. The championship game is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Aug. 9 and will be broadcast on ESPN. The winner advances to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa.
