A Southeast Missouri church has scored a record deal.
Cape First Church, in Cape Girardeau, has landed a record deal with the Devotion music label on Universal EMI.
Initially, the group produced 1,000 CD’s but now that they’ll be worldwide, they may need more said worship pastor Brent Anderson.
"We’ve already been on a compilation CD and it has just blown up," he said.
The album will feature the Cape First Worship group song, Coming Rain. Their own album is called, Know Your Heart and has 12 cuts.
Their songs are available for download on i-Tunes or through their MySpace page . The congregation is home to 2,000 people with 13 in the music group.
