Alex Gordon hit his 11 th home run in the first inning, but the Orioles scored runs in the first and second inning and then had a big four run third inning to pace their 7-5 win over the Royals in game two of their four game series.

Royals’ starter Luke Hochevar had trouble early.  In the third inning, Hochevar gave up a two out walk to load the bases, then two singles, giving Baltimore a four run inning to open up a 6-1 lead.  The Royals comeback came back a little short this time around.

Outfielder David DeJesus could be ready tonight after bruising his ribs when he fell on Jason LaRue’s mask on Sunday in a collision at home plate in the Cardinals 9-6 win.  DeJesus took some soft toss and hit off a tee.
