It is good to be Chase Daniel these days.

The Mizzou quarterback is entering his senior season after throwing for over 4,100 yards and 33 touchdowns in last year’s run to the Cotton Bowl trophy.  He was also a finalist for THE individual trophy in college football: the Heisman.

And now, the MU sensation has been placed on the Unitas Award Watch list.

The Johnny Unitas Gold Arm Award is given annually to the top senior collegiate quarterback.  Daniel is one of 26 signal-callers eligible for the honor.

The 2008 winner will be presented with the award Dec. 5 in Baltimore, Maryland.
