White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen knows how to fire up his troops.  Just two day after saying he can’t win with the offense he has, and challenging his General Manager Kenny Williams to get him different players, the same players he’s had all year on his first place team hit four home runs off of Zach Greinke en route to a 9-5 Royals loss.

It was by far Greinke’s worst outing as he went six innings giving eight runs to fall to 5-3 on the year.  His ERA shot up to 3.56.  He gave up home runs to Carlos Quentin in the first, AJ Pierzynskin in the second and two solo shots in the sixth to Alexi Ramirez and Nick Swisher.

The Royals’ bats managed eight hits off starter Gavin Floyd who is 6-now and Octavio Dotel, who pitched in 24 games last year with K.C. Mark Teahen homered, David DeJesus 3 for 4, but it’s not enough…a 9-5 Royals loss.
