They call it the field of dreams of racing. Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio will be the site of the fourth annual Old Spice Prelude to the Dream. Edwards won the race last year.
He says he enjoys running the race, because it takes him back to his roots at the Capitol Speedway in Holts Summit, MO when he ran on dirt tracks.
NASCAR’s Sprint Cup continues this weekend in Pocono as Edwards sits in fourth place in the standings coming off a second place finish at Dover last week.
This week, Carl joined the NASCAR press conference and talked about the upcoming races at Eldora and Pocono, plus a report that Roush-Fenway teammate Jamie McMurray from Joplin, may be looking for a new team next year.
