The Sooners scored two runs in the bottom of the ninth to come from behind and edge the Tigers, 4-3, in the 2 nd round of the Big 12 Tournament in Oklahoma City, making Missouri’s tournament record 1-1. Junior Aaron Crow pitched seven innings, allowed two runs on six hits, but struck out six batters, earning a no decision. Jacob Priday drove in all three of the Tigers runs, finishing 2-4 on the night, with three RBI.
Only two of the Sooners runs were earned as the Tigers matched a season high four errors. The loss ends a five game winning streak for Missouri.
The Tigers will take on No. 1 seed Texas A&M on Saturday, and will not only need to win there, but will need Oklahoma to lose to Texas to advance in the tournament.
