Central Missouri made it three straight wins in the NCAA-II Central Regional, in Emporia, Kan., on Saturday with a 5-2 victory over the host Emporia State.  

The win sends the Mules to Sunday’s championship game at 12 noon against defending regional champion Nebraska-Omaha, a 17-14 winner over Emporia State in an evening elimination game.

The Mules scored two runs in the top of the first inning Saturday and never trailed, improving their record to 44-15 and securing a spot in a regional championship game for the 15th time in school history.
