The Cardinals dropped the final game of this eight game road trip losing last night at Milwaukee 8-3.  Yadier Molina also dropped off his equipment in front of home plate umpire Paul Schreiber after getting ejected in the 5 th inning.  I’ve got the video link right here.

Adam Wainwright was not sharp in this one.  He gave up eight runs, six earned over six innings, including three home runs including two to Ryan Braun and one to Bill Hall.

Rick Ankiel took Milwaukee starter Dave Bush deep in the first with a solo shot, but Braun answered with a home run of his own in the bottom half of the first.

The third inning did in Wainwright when Bush helped himself with a double, followed by a Jason Kendall single.   A ground rule double and a walk loaded the bases for Prince Fielder and struck him out.  Corey Hart followed with a single and then Adam Kennedy dropped a pop up which led to two more runs and a crooked number in the 3 rd for Milwaukee.

Then frustrations took over as Molina argued a close pitch with the home plate umpire.  LaRussa came out, but Molina was tossed and then he tossed his equipment.  Check it out right here .

Wainwright says he can’t blame the ump and Molina says he always shows respect to the umps.
