Keith Guttin, courtesy MSU sports information Let me put this in perspective.  Missouri State baseball coach Keith Guttin picked up 900th career win on Sunday as the Bears beat Middle Tennessee on Sunday.  Guttin has coached for 26 years…that’s an average of almost 35 wins a year!

We’re not talking about a handful of good seasons, but to average 35 wins when a college program will play roughly 50 games each year, for 26 years is incredible.

Guttin talks with me about the 900 wins and what he remembers most, plus he talks about this year’s team as they wrap up this year.  Guttin also gets into how much time and effort a college baseball has to put in when it comes to juggling a 50 game schedule, practice, and class work.

Plus, if you want to play baseball for coach Guttin, he likes kids that are well rounded and have played other sports as well.  Its all in this weeks addition of the Press Box.
