Rams owner Chip Rosenbloom The St. Louis Rams will remain the St. Louis Rams.  Chip Rosenbloom, the new owner of the St. Louis Rams met with the media today to vow his commitment to keeping the team in St. Louis as well as keeping head coach Scott Linehan.

Rosenbloom is the son of the late Rams owner Georgia Frontiere.  Rosenbloom is a movie producer who lives in Los Angeles and there was a lot of speculation that he would want to move the team back to L.A.  There is a new push to get an NFL stadium built and there has been a push to bring back football to southern California.  Rosenbloom would look like a perfect fit.

"We have a lease, first of all," Rosenbloom said. "We have a commitment to St. Louis. We don’t have any interest in moving to LA. Is that clear enough? I think St. Louis is a great home for the Rams," Rosenbloom said. "I don’t see any reason why we would move the team. St. Louis is as committed to the Rams as the Rams are to St. Louis."

He also showed his support for head coach Scott Linehan saying he was a good coach, a winner, and that they were keeping him.  He put the blame of last year’s 3-13 season on the rash of injuries that hit the team.
