The Jennies defeated top-seed Nebraska (4-1) in their opening match Friday morning of the double-elimination championship tournament at the NCAA Championships in Omaha, Nebraska. The Jennies, who had finished eighth in qualifying round competition.
The scores were 179-156, 186-192, 180-176, 174-173, 180-168.
In their second match of the day, they lost to Jersey City University 4-2-1.
