The Cardinals wrapped up their series with Colorado with a 3-0 win.  Troy Glaus and Rick Ankiel with RBI singles.  Albert Pujols, two more hits, picking up right where he left off from Spring training.

Starting pitcher Brad Thompson helped himself with an RBI.  He pitched 6 2/3 innings, giving up no runs, six hits, and six strikeouts.   How about Anthony Reyes, saying he would have trouble pitching out of the bullpen?  He pitched the 8th inning and struck out the side. Jason Isringhausen picked up the save by coming on in the 9th.

Couple of Cardinal notes, Mark Mulder, who has been throwing to hitters since March 22, will pitch in an extended Spring Training game on Saturday. It will be his first game appearance of any kind since September of last season.  Outfield Chris Duncan will be out until at least Sunday with a sore left hamstring.  The Washington Nationals in tomorrow night.
