Bannister scattered 6 hits, with the only run coming on a homer to J.J. Hardy in the bottom of the 5th.
Joey Gathright went 2 for 5 at the plate, driving in a run. Ryan Braun had a perfect night at the plate for the Brew Crew, going 4 for 4.
