A request for individual assistance for 19 Missouri counties impacted by last week’s floods has been approved by President Bush.
The assistance request, made by Governor Matt Blunt (R-MO) and Lieutenant Governor Peter Kinder (R-MO), allows residents of these counties to register for assistance by calling 1-800-621-FEMA or visiting www.FEMA.gov .
The affected counties are Bollinger, Carter, Christian, Franklin, Greene, Iron, Jasper, Jefferson, Maries, Newton, Oregon, Phelps, Pulaski, Reynolds, St. Francois, Stone, Texas, Washington, and Wayne.
