Anyone who is entitled to that federal stimulus check that many of us are waiting must file a 2007 income tax return. But not everyone entitled to that check would normally be required to file. So, the Internal Revenue Service has scheduled what it’s calling Super Saturday , this coming Saturday, to give lower income residents the assistance they might need to file for the stimulus payment.

Michael Devine, the IRS Public Information Officer for Kansas and Missouri, says help can be found in any of the IRS taxpayer assistance centers in Missouri this Saturday. Devine says as many as 440,000 Missourians could be among this group of individuals not required to file income tax returns. They include senior citizens, disabled veterans, and low-income workers who don’t make enough money to be required to file.
